Modulation
Effects reference
BPM sets the rate of tempo-based modulation. Depth and Mix determine how prominent the movement is. Where the control offers Clock assignment, save that assignment with the preset to follow an external tempo.
| Effect | Purpose and controls | Starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Mono Chorus | Chorus with BPM, Level and Mix. | Use a slow rate and low Mix, then balance Level for gentle movement. |
| Mono Flanger | Sweeping flanger with Depth, BPM and Mix. | Try a slow rate and shallow Depth before increasing Mix. |
| Mono Flanger Plus | Flanging with Depth, Feedback, BPM, Mix, Wet and Width. | Begin with low Feedback, moderate Width and a restrained wet blend. |
| Mono Phaser | Phase sweep with Depth, BPM and Mix. | Use a slow rate and moderate Depth for a gradual sweep. |
| Ring Modulator | Frequency multiplication texture with Mix and Freq. | Keep Mix low while sweeping Freq to find a useful metallic texture. |
| Tremolo | Level modulation with Depth, BPM and Mix. | Set a song-related rate, then raise Depth until the pulse is clear without fully cutting the notes. |
| Mono Vintage Vibe | Modulation with Depth, Feedback, BPM, Mix and Width. | Start with slow BPM, low Feedback and a modest Mix. |
The virtual blocks are mono. An effect's Width control does not turn the block into a stereo send/return path; use the final physical stereo loop for a stereo pedal.
