Pitch
Effects reference
Pitch effects work best when the input notes are clear. Test tracking with the instrument, register and playing style you will use.
| Effect | Purpose and controls | Starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Pitch Shift | One shifted voice with Detune, Dry and Wet. | Use a small Detune and a low Wet level alongside Dry for a subtle doubled sound. |
| Dual Pitch | Two voices with Voice 1, Voice 2, V1 Level, V2 Level and Dry. | Choose small opposing shifts and keep both voice levels below Dry. |
| Harmoniser | A scale-aware voice using Tonic, Mode, Interval, Wet and Dry. | Set the song's tonic and mode first, choose the desired interval and keep Wet modest while testing the melody. |
| Dual Harmoniser | Two scale-aware intervals with Tonic, Mode, Voice 1 Interval, Voice 2 Interval, Voice Mix and Dry. | Set the key/mode, choose the two intervals and blend the voices beneath Dry. |
An incorrect tonic or mode can create unwanted harmony notes even when tracking is working. Check the song's key changes before using the same harmony throughout.
